Not attracting many customers

As I’ve said before, every place in Pigeon Forge had some kind of gimmick to attract customers, even for the most mundane of things.

I had intended to focus this gallery on Pigeon Forge and how tacky it looked, but you really have to see it all in context to understand the carnival-like atmosphere that pervades it (so I haven’t posted a lot of pictures of individual attractions unless they really stood out). Besides, we saw some nice places that were more worth photographing, such as the national park, Wears Valley and the American Eagle Foundation.

They do the job though. I stopped a something similar in Florida. A great colorful capture. Well composed. V

a surfeit of attractions perhaps affecting business...the place seems overloaded with options..

Not too many people getting ice cream that day! Nice colors and sharpness.

I don't think you could mistake what is sold there. Another great capture of the over the top attractions there. V.
