Another place I had never visited before in Portland was OMSI, the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry. In the end, I’d say it was more for children, although the movie we saw about national parks was excellent.
This is the USS Blueback, the US Navy’s last non-nuclear, fast attack submarine that was featured in “The Hunt for Red October.” The propeller is a National Submarine Memorial, also located on the grounds (picture to follow).
