Back to Sahraa and her hotel, although we have finally moved out of there to our house and are currently camping out (literally) among hundreds of boxes from storage in Virginia and Antwerp that have to be unpacked (a lot of whose contents will have to be thrown or given away since we simply don’t have room for all this stuff in our tiny row house). Our shipment of household effects and our car from Riyadh won’t arrive until later in the month, thankfully.

This woman simply fell in love with Sahraa and was so disappointed another day when I hadn’t brought her down to the lobby for the free wine hour.
