Oneonta Tunnel

An old tunnel at Oneonta Gorge through which the Historic Columbia River Highway used to pass until a new road was built. The tunnel was constructed in 1914, apparently quite an engineering feat, and due to fears that the basalt outcrop would collapse onto the nearby railroad, concrete was injected into the rock to stabilize it.
