Park with no name (6)

Even though I said in the previous (and below) picture it would be silly to post this, I am anyway because I like the way these unusual fountains look when they’re operating, which is almost never. Taken several years ago and never posted because, well, it was silly ;-).

Yet another fountain in the park with no name, posted earlier:

Not silly at all. The water patterns are an ethereal dance against the matrix of blue tiles.

In the desert, even more precious than oil, is water. To have fountains, man y of them, is a sign of ostentatiousness, showing off your richest when in the desert, you can have water flow uselessly everywhere! Imagine you are in the desert, well you are! and water flows ... wasting it to evaporation. just so you can hear it flow ... I call it ... how to waste your wealth ... soon enough, they'll be on their knees wanting to drink it to the last drop.

I don't think it is silly! Very nice capture of this gentle flow!
