Royal gate

This is the gate of a palace, I assume inhabited by a member of the royal family, indicated by the national symbol of the palm tree and crossed swords. This particular neighborhood seems to be all palaces, and the crown prince’s mother lives there as well. Needless to say, it’s very difficult to get pictures, and this was taken while driving by sort of quickly ;-).

Oh wow, it's a pretty gate and not as formidable looking as I would expect for a royal compound. V
