Lace and light

I couldn’t resist another capture of a “lacy” gate, especially with that light. There were workmen around, so Tim opened his window and leaned way back, and I snapped this, trying to avoid parts of the car. Not the easiest way to do things ;-).

Wonderful composition to emphasize the fine details of this beautiful gate. The design of this gate looks resembles the covers of the hand-written Qurans of Ottoman period in Topkapi Museum in Istanbul. V.

That worked very well. It looks less Saudi than most of the other gates, more Parisian, or Spanish.
