KAPSARC (3)

This is the complex we drove all the way out to the airport to see, the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC), designed by famed Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid. It looked spectacular from pictures I found online, but it had such heavy security, we could only see it from the road. The mosque there http://www.archdaily.com/tag/riyadh looks spectacular, but I doubt I will ever get to photograph it. Such a pity, like so many other places of interest here.

Another view of KAPSARC, posted earlier.

Quite a building, and with Hadid's signature of no vertical walls and lots of interesting angles.
