The knife grinder

I’m somewhat quickly posting a series of market shots; none are remarkable, but they’re what I was able to get during my “wheelchair tour” of the festival.

I’m not actually sure what this man was selling (knife sharpening?), but it was in the Makkah area of the festival.

Step right up, posted earlier.

He is holding a knife to the grinding stone. Perhaps he is an reenactor showing how it was done.

It does look like a knife sharpener, but I'm really fascinated by all of the canes and walking sticks behind. :) V

I think this man is scheduled for tourism! However your picture is very good, Helen. V

An interesting shot - strange looking tool and the man's headgear is different ! V
