Qassim is the date capital of Saudi Arabia and produces a huge variety of the delicacy. It’s famous for its huge date market, which I’ve never been to but would love to see. We were treated to plates of dates in the “Palm Museum” at the Qassim pavilion, in which they said everything was made from date palms.
Date capital, posted earlier.
