Casa Terrades, nicknamed the Casa de les Punxes (House of Spikes) and completed in 1905 by Josep Puig i Cadafalch as a redevelopment project, is really a triangular residential block built in the shape of a medieval castle with four large turrets.
I wasn’t entirely pleased with the picture below (should have been sharper, but I wanted to show the whole building) so am posting a close-up of the towers, which were my main interest in this fantastic building anyway. Seems like I must have had other captures of it (and everything, for that matter) but they got lost between our move from Budapest to Saudi Arabia in 2013.
