There is what I call the “wild area” on the Diplomatic Quarter, out by a sewage treatment plant. I’ve never seen the plant, but the grounds are extensive, with lush vegetation, countless date palms, BBQ facilities and large ponds. We frequently take a drive out there on the weekends by since Sahraa enjoys it, as do we.

This area is incredibly lush, at least around the ponds.

I don’t know if the problem is with the poor Internet connections in Saudi Arabia or with Pbase, but I am just about ready to give up on both posting and responding to comments. I have used WiFi with VPN (without VPN my Favorites page is blocked for some odd reason), fiber optic with VPN and without, and it is taking 30 to 60 seconds for comments or responses to load. Uploading a picture took several minutes. Is anybody else having problems, or is it just me? I just don't have this kind of time to spend on something that should take seconds!
