The fisherman

There is what I call the “wild area” on the Diplomatic Quarter, out by a sewage treatment plant. I’ve never seen the plant, but the grounds are extensive, with lush vegetation, countless date palms, BBQ facilities and large ponds. We frequently take a drive out there on the weekends by since Sahraa enjoys it, as do we.

We often see people fishing here. I have no idea how much they actually catch, but I do see a lot of fish in the water. This man said he hadn’t caught anything that day.
