A change of pace

The other day we were driving around southern Riyadh, not far from the DQ, to see what was there. I remembered having seen a very affluent neighborhood one evening a while ago and also wanted to revisit it in daylight. This will just be a series of captures of the houses there, many of which are still under construction. Maybe I’ll make a small gallery for the afternoon, but don’t have time to now and not sure I have enough decent pictures to make one anyway!

This was a radically different gate from any I’ve seen here, but then I guess that makes sense given the decorative wheels strewn about, also unusual for this place.

A beautiful entry, posted earlier:

I really like the setting of this beautiful house and the detailed gateway. The wheels and seat are inviting too, Helen.VV

Very "Vegasy" with the wagon wheels and tiled roof.

I wouldn't have expected to see wagon wheels there. Interesting! V
