We came across this neighborhood one evening on our way back home from a supermarket, and I was so intrigued by a gate I wanted to go back and see more. It’s not as upscale a neighborhood as the one I photographed last year, but I always find it interesting to see how people live here.

I think I’m going to end this little gallery here. Thanks for the support and interest shown in how people here live! And what am I going to do now ;-). We’re sort of limited as to where we can go these days because Tim still can’t walk a lot, so it’s parks in the DQ, Sahraa or residential neighborhoods in Riyadh, or tackling my architectural gallery from a return trip to Doha, Qatar. I just don’t think I have the energy for that yet!
