In the Mellah

This was taken in the Mellah, or Jewish quarter. There used to be a huge Jewish presence in Morocco, but I’m not clear on why there isn’t now. I imagine the stories would differ between the two sides. They all left for better opportunity, which I was told, just does ring true with me.
