Sqala du Port, Dutch cannon

We met up with our tour guide, and although drivers aren’t supposed to accompany tours, Rostom came along in order to wheel Tim around in the wheelchair the hotel let us use. We first all headed for the fishing port, which in the morning is a beehive of activity, with fishing boats returning with their catches and locals there to do their shopping. Interestingly enough, I didn’t see many foreign tourists.

Cannon with dragons at the Sqala du Port that the tour guide said came from the Netherlands (and “Haga” was inscribed on it, if that’s any indication).

The classic tourist view from the Sqala, posted earlier:

Very nice comp. You must have been in stealth mode to have this gull be so at ease.
