This might give an idea of the chaotic conditions in parts of Marrakech. It was taken in the Mellah, the old Jewish quarter, which is currently undergoing restoration. The traffic is terrible, and there are motorbikes everywhere (my tour guide kept holding on to me for fear I’d get run over), even in the souks, where unlike the medinas of Fes and Chefchaouen, where donkeys are the only modes of transport, motorbikes rule the narrow passageways.

I have to work quite late this evening, so will try to catch up as I can!
