We finally arrived in Marrakech after a very eventful day, with Tim breaking his foot in Ait Benhaddou, although at the time we weren’t aware it was so serious.

More rose petals in a public space (not a bed!) at Riad Kniza, one of the two most beautiful riads at which we stayed in Morocco. They were very much into rose petals, which were strewn throughout our room, on the tables and bed and in the bathroom as well as in several fountains around the building. It was a delightful riad, and the staff went out of their way to make Tim’s visit more comfortable.
