Private home

Volubilis was settled and prospered under the Mauritanian kings, from the third century B.C. to 40 A.D., after which it was annexed by the Romans.

This was once a private home, but I can’t remember what the structures below ground were for. Heating? Bath?

Interesting view of what I think is a heating system. Amazing how clever they were.
