On the road, Fes to Erfoud, Ziz Oasis

This is the Ziz Oasis, which we passed on our drive to the Sahara Desert. What is shown here is only a small portion of it, said to be the largest oasis in Africa, with 1,300,000 date palms.

Now I really will be cut off from the outside world as we are going to be spending the night in a Berber tent in the desert. We will be getting there via camel. What an adventure this is turning out to be!
