Taqah, mosque

We took a drive east of Salalah one day, to various recommended sights, among them the fishing village of Taqah, where we saw this mosque. I thought the dome was pretty unusual, looking sort of like it was screwed into the building. Everything we saw was covered in dust like this, showing that despite all the water here, this is still a desert country.

That is curious. To my eye, the curved dome doesn't fit with the rectilinear design of the rest of the building. But I do like the green !
