This was taken at the Abu Dhabi airport, of a man and his falcon waiting for their flight. As I had mentioned in another photo, people are allowed to buy seats for their falcons, and they’re not required to be caged (but they must hold a valid passport, at least in the UAE). We had seen this man when we entered the waiting room with the falcon sitting quietly next to him -- but I didn’t have a camera at hand to photograph him. I went back there, prepared to ask for permission, but there was already a family gawking at them, and he was still engrossed in his phone call, so I just took it. I loved the scene.
