This is the Emirates Palace, a very luxury hotel that’s also a tourist destination in its own right. We walked around the grounds and the interior, and it was very elegant, but not really sure I’d like to stay there. Our hotel is directly across the street and is quite fine; we’re on the 54th floor if you can believe that.
