Al Yamamah Garden

Al Yamamah Garden must be one of, if not the, largest parks in the Diplomatic Quarter. I was floored at its sheer size – and at the number of fountains it has – we counted 14. In addition to the arcaded sections, there is a huge lawn with trees and then an enormous area with kids’ play equipment. Tim says this park is never empty, and indeed we saw several couples walking around here and a number of families having a picnic in the grassy area.

It does look like a more naturalized setting and very tranquil. I can imagine how much of an oasis this must provide on hot sunny days. V
