Fountains of Hajer Garden (5)

Thanks, everybody, for your good wishes for Tim’s speedy recovery.

What a day. It took me literally hours to get any useful information from the health unit at the embassy, but finally I did get an update. The doctors at the hospital think the insect bite was poisonous (which is what I had thought all along, although I guess nobody else did) and that he is allergic to the venom, so they are keeping him the hospital for a few days with heavy doses of antibiotics via IV.

All this time I was under pressure at work, and some friends’ kids came to take Sahraa for a walk in the evening for me, but she refused to go with them. So I took her out late, and she didn’t really want to go then, either. I think she misses Tim.

Well, hopefully things will only get better from now on for Tim.

Meantime, this is a fabulous shot of a tiny Stonehenge! V

Reminds me of Stonehenge. Hope Tim's medication is doing the trick. Insect bites can be very, very nasty.
