Rådhus

The Rådhus, or City Hall, was built in 1905, designed by the Danish architect Martin Nyrop, who was inspired by Italian buildings but who also employed elements of Danish medieval architecture. We wandered around it for about an hour and found it amazing that although it’s a government building, it’s completely open to the public.

This was taken in the inner courtyard. We waited forever for the sun to come out and illuminate that crown!
