Breišamerkurjökull is an outlet glacier of the larger glacier of Vatnajökull in southeastern Iceland. Emerging as a tongue of the Vatnajökull, it ends in a small lagoon, known as Jökulsįrlón. Over time, it has gradually been breaking down. (Wikipedia)
You can take a tour of the lagoon by boat, although we decided it wasn't worth doing. The force of the wind can be seen in the water.
