While on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, we took a hike along the cliffs overlooking the North Atlantic, where lava has flowed into the sea, creating many unusual volcanic formations as well as black sand.
On our walk we came across the remains of an old fishing village whose houses had been made of stone.
