The ingenious water system (3)

This is the fountain into which all the water channels flow.

The water starts on the highest level of the garden and flows into channels like the one pictured below which ultimately deposit the water into the fountain. Unfortunately, it was all turned off when we were there for repair, as Tim said the main fountain had been overflowing. Another reason, one among many, to return to this lovely garden!
