Desert architecture

This was just a commercial building in the Qasr Al Hokm area, but I liked the architecture as well as that of the building behind it. In the distance are the supreme court and a minaret (not attached!).

Another picture posted today of an unusual tent-like shopping center:

Is these photos brings out the beauty. The buildings remain me of Tucson or Phoenix. You need to adapted the architectural into the country side. V.

Like the desert, the designs seem stark, not flashy. The second image really gives the sense of being in a tent.

I know I already said it on a picture you posted earlier this morning, but I really am so pleased to see that they are still (again?) building in traditional style. :-)
