I had been wanting to photograph some of the abundance of dates around the DQ and finally had a chance to the other night when I went for a walk with Tim and Sahraa.
I hate to admit it, but I had no idea how dates grew or that they even looked like this in their development into the delicacy so very much favored in this part of the world and elsewhere. With all the palm trees in Saudi Arabia, small wonder it’s such a major date producer.
