After we had driven by the Shura Council gate in semi-daylight (pictured below), we finally turned around to return home and saw that the gate was lit up. I just had to try to get a picture of it, so we made two passes but couldn’t slow down or stop due to the heavy security in front. This was what I was able to get from a pretty quickly moving car. I doubt going back will change the situation any, but I did want to show how striking it looked at night.
