Old wall

This old wall sits above the wadi where the camels are kept and the back garden where vegetables are produced for the family. It dates back at least to the Ottoman occupation of the Arabian Peninsula (1517-1918).

I had to work until close to midnight this evening, so I think commenting will have to wait until Friday morning!

Quite an exceptional scene and shot. There is an almost lacy effect to the top part of the wall. It is quite amazing that it has withstood all those centuries. V
