As Will so aptly called Sahraa.

This little girl and her sister were playing in an embassy compound and both seemed afraid of Sahraa when we first walked by, but it was clear this girl was fascinated by her. So she got brave enough to pet her, first with Tim holding on to Sahraa, and then on her own. In fact, they both ended up petting her in the end. We promised to come back and visit again.

When we were nearing home, some man who was obviously afraid of Sahraa stopped to ask a question. At first we thought he was asking her age, and Tim said "Four." The man said, "Four hundred [riyals]? Four thousand?" We weren't sure if he wanted to buy her or how much we paid for her. Tim said she had been free, and the man walked on.
