Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar

A number of people recommended we see this church, including our gracious guide, Jose Antonio, so we did.

It is the only example of a church entirely in the Catalan Gothic style and was built between 1329 and 1383 in only 55 years, unheard of in the Middle Ages.

I unfortunately wasn't able to get a shot of the exterior because it was raining.
