Church of St. John

This church was first recorded in the 12th century. Its Romanesque architecture has been lost and what remains is Baroque in style. The high altar dates to 1730.

I had tried to photograph this church last year but was unable to due to the presence of a very intimidating nun. I tried again on this last trip; the same nun was there but was distracted for a moment, and this is what I got.

Very pretty with the brightness in the center. That's so funny that the same nun was there!
