The Jesuit Church, main altar

I must say, it was dark dark dark in these churches that day. Amazing what a bit of sunlight outside can do for church interiors! Unfortunately, it was raining and snowing.

the extra light in the apse gives a great depth over-all; I just love semi-circular apses, usually early medieval, but in this case more probably reworked much more recently
