Golden bowl

I'm struggling with far too much noise at high ISOs with this camera (I often shoot at ISO 5000 with the D700) so dropped it to ISO 3200 to see how it went (about as low as I wanted to go and still be able to have enough in focus while hand held). At first I thought the sides of the bowl in front were noisy, but I just looked at the bowl again downstairs, and in fact the gold of the bottom reflects onto the sides of the bowl (the lines of the reflection are the same on both sides, but due to the DOF it's hard to tell what it is). I'd welcome any comments as I'm really up in the air about this camera :-).

Looks fine at 3200, but the pixel level sharpness and detail should be better on the 700, 12 MP is much easier to work with IMHO. V

To my eye it looks just perfect, although not so good with ISO's... still a lot to learn. Anyways, a lovely shot, so golden, so pretty! V
