St. Peter's Church

First mentioned in 1209, this church was built by the local Livs rather than foreigners. None of the original wood church survives, although parts of the walls date from the 13th century.

Beautiful church. It's amazing to think these walls were built centuries ago by primitive methods and yet what we build today barely lasts a decade or so before it's torn down.
