Wawel Royal Castle (16th century)

Part of the royal castle (pronounced "Vavel") is believed to have been built in the 11th century by Kazimierz the Restorer, but the current Renaissance castle was constructed in the first half of the 16th century. Poland's royalty resided here until the capital of the country was moved to Warsaw.

This was shot from a horse-drawn carriage.
