Nagyvázsony is a small town in Southern Transdanubia that boasts the very well-preserved Kinizsi Castle, given to local warrior Pál Kinizsi by King Mátyás in 1472 for his military service. It was turned into a residence from a military fortress, which is why some believe it has survived all these years.
