Budapest Adventure

We just arrived in Budapest, our home for the next three years. While I don't really have much time to get out to take photographs due to work, what I have managed to see on Saturdays has shown me that Budapest is a fascinating city full of phenomenal and diverse architecture, really a photographer's dream. What I have learned is to always look up instead of straight ahead, and there isn't a block that doesn't have several buildings worthy of capturing. It also appears to be a great city for photographing at night, but I haven't been able to manage that thus far.

Helen, Love your Budapest Gallery also. My wife Ildiko left Hungary in 1956 but we have been back 4 times since then to visit her cousins and friends. We are planning to return again in the spring or next year. It is a wonderful place and we enjoy it every time we visit.
