This is my custom straight edge jig. When I purchase lumber I don't go to a home center, I get it
at a wholesale house that sells all sorts of exotics and hardwoods to custom builders. When you buy
lumber this way you have to surface plane it to the thickness dimension you want and often put a straight cut
along one edge before you can continue milling. These are all extra steps that are well worth my time.
