Tallulah Gorge State Park - Tallulah Falls, GA

One of the oldest geological features in North America, Tallulah Gorge is located on the Tallulah River in Northern Georgia. It is about 2 miles long and 1000 ft deep. Along the bottom of the gorge are 5 major waterfalls. They are, starting at the east end of the gorge, Bridal Veil Falls Which is 17 ft tall; Oceana Falls, 50 ft tall; Hurricane Falls, 96 ft; Tempesta falls, 76 ft; and L'Eau d'Or, 46 ft.

On July 18, 1970, famous highwire preformer Karl Wallenda crossed from the north rim to the south rim on a tightrope.
