One of my all time favorite Malawi cichlids. These guys can reach a max length of over 16 inches (one of if not the largest pursuit predators in Lake Malawi). This guy is my young breeder male. At this time he is between 8 and 9 inches. Prior to taking this pic he had been displaying for his female so he is wearing his full breeding coloration.
