The telephoto makes it appear the gentleman was closer to the falling wall than he was. Even so I wouldn't have chosen to be that close as the bricks tend to fly quite far. Still, they must know what they're doing.

Demolition of the old Fish Hatchery building is almost complete. There were those who tried to save the structure, arguing it was of some historic nature. Ironically demolition of the building that occupied this site prior to the fish hatchery was also protested, again due to argued historical significance of the structure. In this case the building had not been occupied or maintained for decades and it became a hazard as well as an eyesore. Once demolition is complete the site will be rehabilitated into a public park along the Crow River.
