Three of us went to shoot some Snowies on Wolf Island. We saw seven that day. This one was found perched on a hydro pole along the road. Wen we approached, it flew away to perch on an other hydro pole, two poles down the road. It then flew to perch on this branch of a tree across the road. It obviously was looking for a spot to sleep and decided "The heck with those photographers, I'm going to sleep."
This and the following six shots show his follow-up actions.
(Shot 1 of 7 above) He gives us a quick glance over his left shoulder.
(Shot 2 of 7) He then looks up to check for possible predators or overhead annoyances.
(Shot 3 of 7) He then checks us out over his right shoulder.
(Shot 4 of 7) Starting to close his eyes as all seems in order.
(Shot 5 of 7) zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz "Dreaming of that next mouse"
(Shot 6 of 7) What was that! A crow, maybe?
(Shot 7 of 7) " Lets check out those photographers again too." Note: he repeated this sky-check/photographer-check and in between sleep-time several times before deciding, "This is enough." He then flew away to a distant tree.
