Six interaction shots of a mute Swan defending its territory/family. Continued from yesterday's posting at http://www.pbase.com/image/163472431
Top image: The Swan is charging the Goose. Initially, the Goose doesn't flinch, but on second thought.........
.... the Goose takes off with the Swan taking chase.
Having chased the Goose away far enough, and not having caught it, the Swan stops the chase.
With a satisfied look, the Swan turns around and peddles back to his family, but not before......
....doing a few victory wing-flaps to impress the lady with his prowess.
Settling down after the wing-flap display.
Note! The faster Goose was back before the Swan got back to his family. It actually disappeared in the reeds where I'm guessing its mate was tending their nest.
