Five images of two Snappers. Not sure of the "END-GAME" here. I thought that mating and egg-laying season were over, but then, what do I know.
Top Image:
I came across this scene thinking that the one large Snapper was simply trying to go over top of the one laying across the log.
The Painted Turtles took to the water and the Big Snapper kept on climbing.
A wider angle view of the scene and activity. One of the Painted Turtles having crawled back on to the log to get a better view of what was going on.
Here the top Snapper appears to be pulling up on the bottom one which now has its head raised.
A final shot showing the two turtles now aligned and the Painted Turtle still checking out the action. Still too far for me to see/understand the mechanics of it.
For this shot I had moved further along the shore; hence, the blue, instead of green reflections in the water.
